Feasibility study for the implantation of combined cycle

The Barbosa Lima Sobrinho Power Plant in the State of Rio de Janeiro, with a 360MW installed capacity, possesses 8 GE LM 6000 turbines of the aero-derivatives type and operating in open cycle. OMEGA carried out the technical and economic feasibility study to close the thermal cycle and use steam turbines, thus increasing the capacity of the Power Plant and improving its efficiency.
